 Privacy
of Client Financial Information
As your CPA, I am committed to protecting your right to privacy. Accountants have always
been bound by stringent professional standards of confidentiality. Now Congress has passed
the Gramm-Leach-Billey Act, a law that requires us to notify clients of our privacy
policies. I am happy to share this information with you.
How I Protect Your Right to Privacy
- All personal information that we receive from you or about your personal finances from
third parties is held in strictest confidence.
- We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with the
professional standards of our industry, as well as state and federal laws governing
privacy.
- I divulge personal client information to my employee only as necessary to provide the
services requested by you.
- We do not release personal information to anyone outside the firm, except as agreed to
by the client, or as required by a legal authority. If we must disclose information about
you to an external party, we would only do so with your written consent.
If you have any questions about these policies please call me directly. (530) 247-1200
